What this site is, and what it is not
How’s the Tide publishes tide predictions issued by theNOAA Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services, together with weather forecasts from the National Weather Service and sun, moon and solunar times we compute ourselves. Every page names the station its numbers come from and links to it.
It is not a navigation product. Predictions are not measurements, and weather moves. Before you rely on any of these times on the water, check the official NOAA station page and the current marine forecast. The full terms are in ourterms of use.

The tide, weather and water-level data on this site is produced by agencies of the United States federal government and is in the public domain. The National Ocean Service requests that attribution be given whenever its material is reproduced and re-disseminated, which is why the source, the station and the retrieval time stand on every page.
The text, layout, code and images of this site are ours © 2026 Honeygoat GmbH. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link back. Wholesale copying of the pages, or automated re-publication of the tables, is not covered by that.
Naming NOAA and the National Weather Service as our sources does not mean either agency endorses this site. It means they published the data and we say so.

Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Two things are checked automatically before anything is published: every colour pairing that carries text is measured against the AA contrast ratio, and the build stops if one falls short. Tide states are never signalled by colour alone — „High“ and „Low“ are written out, and so are the verdicts in the boating and beach tables.
That is a claim you can test. If something here does not work with your screen reader, your keyboard or your zoom level, write toinfo@howsthetide.com and name the page. We would rather hear it than not.
